Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you will be welcomed by our safari representative and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha.

Take the remainder of the day to relax and prepare for your safari adventure.

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its enormous elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and spectacular landscapes.

The Tarangire River provides an essential source of water during the dry season, attracting large numbers of wildlife. During your game drive, you may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hartebeest, buffalo and a variety of antelope. Lions and other predators can also be spotted.

Tarangire is also a paradise for birdwatchers, with an impressive diversity of bird species.

In the late afternoon, continue towards the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and overnight accommodation.

After an early breakfast, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive.

Often described as one of Africa’s natural wonders, the crater supports an extraordinary concentration of wildlife. It is one of the best places in Tanzania to search for the endangered black rhinoceros and is home to the Big Five, alongside large populations of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, hippos and other wildlife.

You will also visit the hippo pool before enjoying a packed picnic lunch.

Later, continue towards Serengeti National Park, arriving in time for dinner and an overnight stay.

Wake up to the sounds of the Serengeti and enjoy breakfast at camp before heading out for a full day of wildlife viewing.

The Serengeti is one of Africa’s most iconic ecosystems, famous for its endless plains, exceptional wildlife and the annual Great Migration. Depending on the season and local conditions, you may encounter vast herds of wildebeest and zebra as well as lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes and numerous other species.

A picnic lunch will be served during the game drive, allowing you to spend more time exploring this remarkable wilderness.

Later, drive back towards the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and overnight accommodation.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park.

Your safari begins with the opportunity to see large troops of baboons before exploring the park’s diverse landscapes. Lake Manyara is renowned for its elephants, abundant birdlife and beautiful scenery along the Great Rift Valley.

With some luck, you may also spot the park’s famous tree-climbing lions and large concentrations of flamingos around the alkaline lake.

Enjoy a picnic lunch before returning to Arusha for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar.

Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in historic Stone Town.

After breakfast, enjoy time in Stone Town before travelling north towards Nungwi, one of Zanzibar’s most famous beach destinations.

Nungwi is known for its powdery white coral sand, turquoise Indian Ocean waters and traditional dhow boats sailing along the coastline.

Spend the afternoon relaxing at the beach or enjoying optional activities such as snorkeling, diving, sunset cruises, swimming or exploring the local area.

Enjoy a full day at leisure in Nungwi.

Relax on the beautiful beach, swim in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean or choose from a range of optional experiences, including snorkeling, diving, dhow cruises, fishing and other water activities.

As the day comes to an end, enjoy a spectacular Zanzibar sunset over the ocean.

Enjoy breakfast and some final relaxation at your hotel.

Depending on your departure time, you will be transferred to Zanzibar Airport or the ferry terminal for your onward journey.

Your 8-day Tanzania safari and Zanzibar beach adventure comes to an end.
